Well, as some of you probably know I picked up a graphic tablet recently and I am really enjoying it! Now, this doesn't mean I will abandon good ol' paper and pencil, traditional is always going to be something I do. Also, things are going along well with the "Garden of Paradise" primer, the pencils I'm getting from
Demons:
So for this updates features I simply searched the newest deviations for both "Demon" and "Angel" and found a couple doozies! Here are the baddies:
ChainDUDE by DreddaBrutallac
This piece really just grabbed me. My first thought was "Chain Devil", and whether or not the artist intended that, for me this is how I will always imagine one. The eyes are really intense and look like you could put your finger right into the pupils. I would advise against it though. Excellent pencil work all around.

Another B&W? Yep. And its just as cool as the last one. The canine's evil grin and "blind" eye let you know he ain't friendly right off the bat...and with that sword sitting there, I wouldn't wanna face him in whatever form he chose...great digital work, time well spent sir!
Angels:
And the goodies...

You want some color you say? Okay fine. This digital paint job shows a really cool shot of a warrior and his brethren (rushing off to battle I assume). Great use of focus and angles (no not angels, angles).
and last but not...well it maybe just last period from the looks of it... The Punisher Angel by fwfilip

Awesome colors! Looks like the end for us all, cause it sure looks like that guys is coming right down onto the earth, stepping down from the clouds. Great detail and composition, well executed speed paint!
Btw, does ANYBODY care to participate in the contest I mentioned last time? [link]
